吉祥如意珍珠球 ~ Pearl balls





食谱取自 Weeknite Meals


1.5 杯糯米 浸泡过夜,沥干待用)
猪肉碎  450g
青葱粒  1汤匙
姜茸 1汤匙
鸡蛋  1
黑胡椒粉  1/4茶匙
酱油   1汤匙
马蹄  6 去皮,剁碎

1. 除了糯米,将所有材料搅拌均匀,打起胶质。

2. 搓成大概1寸的肉丸.

3. 裹上糯米。

4. 以大火蒸20分钟或至熟。

Pearl balls

Ingredients :
1.5 cups of glutinous rice (soak in water overnight, drain and set aside right before you are ready to prepare)
1 pound / 450g  ground pork (try to buy the ones with a little big more fat content so the pearl balls won’t come out too dry)
1 tbsp green onions, chopped
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 large egg
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp light soy sauce
6 water chestnuts peeled, smashed then minced 

 Method :
1. Except the glutinous rice, mix all other ingredients together in a large bowl. Stir until sticky .

2. Make meat balls, about 1 inch diameter each.

3. Roll the meat balls in glutinous rice, make sure all sides are covered. Now the meat balls should resemble beautiful pearls!

4. Place the pearl balls into your steamer, steam on high for 20 minutes.
