法式温热三明治 ~ Croque-monsieur







 
Croque-monsieur 是法国传统的温热三明治。用奶油煎至外表焦酥,香气十足,内层欲是软嫩的。一口咬下去,浓软的起司流出,咸香可口。从里到外都是温热的,吃起来特别暖胃。Croque-monsieur的基本食材是火腿和起司。Monsieur 直接翻译是先生。只要在三明治上加一颗太阳蛋,就从先生变成了女士 – Croque-madam .

 
法式温热三明治

材料
白吐司    4
火腿片    4
起司丝     80g
洋葱     1/4 切薄片)
番茄  1 (切薄片)
生菜  4 ~ 5 切半
奶油适量

 
做法

1. 在吐司上依序铺上火腿片,洋葱片,起司丝,番茄片,生菜叶,火腿片和吐司。

2. 然后用牙签将吐司以及馅料固定着。重复以上步骤将另一组三明治也完成。

3. 烧热平底锅,放入少许奶油。

4. 奶油开始溶解时,把一组(1)的三明治放入锅中去煎。用铲子稍微压一压三明治。以中小火煎至底部微焦后翻面。再加入少许奶油,同样用铲子稍微压一压三明治。继续煎至底部微焦即可起锅盛盘。

4. 也重复以上步骤将另一组三明治也煎好。上桌前将牙签取出。

 

A croque-monsieur is a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with béchamel sauce. It originated in French cafés and bars as a quick snack. Typically, Emmental or Gruyère cheese is used.  A croque-monsieur served with a fried egg or poached egg on top is known as a croque-madame. According to About.com the word croque comes from the verb croquer or “to crunch”. So a Croque-Monsieur roughly translates to “Mister Crunchy”.
 
Ingredients  :
white sandwich bread     4  slices
ham     4  slices
grated cheese   80g
1/4  onion   ( sliced  )
1 tomato  ( sliced )
romaine lettuce 4 ~ 5 pieces ( cut in half )
salted butter
 
Method :
1. Assemble the sandwiches as follows  ~ bread follow by ham , sliced onion , grated cheese , sliced tomato , romaine lettuce , ham and top with bread .
 
2. Use toothpicks to fixed the 4 edges of the sandwich  ( as shown below ) .
 
                     
3. Heat a non-stick pan , add in salted butter  .
 
4.  Pan fry the sandwich until golden brown ( medium –low heat for both side ) .
 
5.  Take out the toothpick before serve .
