酸甜酱 ~ Sweet and sour sauce


 
酸甜酱

材料:
1/2
1/2
2汤匙白米醋
1 ½汤匙酱油
3汤匙蕃茄酱
2茶匙玉米粉 + 2汤匙水( 搅拌均匀

 
做法
1.把糖放入一个小锅里 ,以小火煮至糖溶解及转成焦糖(糖还未溶解前请勿搅拌)。

2.水,白米醋,酱油和蕃茄酱搅拌至滑。加入(1)里,煮至滚。小火煮至焦糖溶。最后加入玉米水,煮至浓稠状。

** 此分量可做3/4杯的酸甜酱
 

 

Sweet and sour sauce

Ingredients:
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c water
2 tbsps rice vinegar
1 1/2 tbsps light soy sauce
3 tbsps ketchup
2 tsps corn flour dispersed in 2 tbsps. water

 

Method :
1. Caramelize the sugar until medium brown.

2 .Whisk the water, vinegar, soy sauce and ketchup until smooth. Add to the caramel and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat until the caramel is dissolved. Thicken with the corn flour slurry.

** This recipe makes about 3/4 cup of sauce.
